How to Record a Voice on a PC
You can record your own voice or someone else's voice on a computer. All you need to know is where you will find the tools to do so. It is easy to record a voice and save it. You can send this voice recording to others by attaching it to an email. All you have to do is sit down and plan what you may want to say. That will be the hardest part.

Open your programs menu by clicking on the "Start button" in the lower left hand side of your computer.

Select "All Programs." When the window opens, look for and place the cursor over "Accessories." Look for "Entertainment" in the next pop up box. Place the cursor over "Entertainment" and you will see "Sound Recorder." Click on this application.

Look at the sound recorder box that opens up. You will see buttons on the bottom that are for start, stop, pause and record.

Press the "Start button" to start your voice recording. As you talk, you will see the green bar move in the voice recorder box that lets you know that the recorder is picking up the sound. When you are done recording, press stop. Press rewind and press start to listen to what you have recorded.

Save the sound recording by going to the "File tab" at the top and clicking on "Save as" to save to a folder on your computer. The file is ready to attach and send in an email or open up to listen to it.
