How to set prices on AP 7000 series Snack Vending Machine

Do you have an Automatic Products 7000 series vending machine and need to change the prices. This article will give you the step by step instructions.

Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Control Board
     
    Control Board

    Open up the door to the vending machine and find the control board where you are going to have to press the price set button. This will cause the machine to enter the set price mode and the screen on the front of the machine will be blank.

  2. Step 2

    Now you will want to be in the front of the machine. You are going to have to hit the number 11 key on the front of the machine you will here a beep. Caution, Do not press any selections before hitting the number 11 button on the keypad. This could cause that selection to be erased from the memory chip.

  3. Step 3

    After you have pressed this key you are going to have to press and hold the number 11 key and you will see the price increment by .05 cent intervals. Stop when you get to the price that you want. For example say we are going to set A1 for .75. Press and hold number 11 button until you get to that price and stop. If you have passed the price you can use the number 12 key and that will decrement the prices by .05 cents.

  4. Step 4

    This is when you are going to start setting the prices for your selections by press which products you want for that price. This can be achieved by pressing the letter and the number for the selection. For example letter A key followed by the 1 key for A1. Keep on pressing the selections that you want for that particular price and then press and hold the number 11 key until you get to the next price point. Now set the selections for that price.

  5. Step 5

    Finally, change the price tags next to the items that you have changed the prices on and then close the door. You Automatic Products 7000 series vending machine is all set to vend at your correct prices.

Tips & Warnings
  • It is a good idea to have all your prices and products in mind. The easiest way to achieve this is to start at the lowest price point and work you way up.
