Looking for a long lost friend from school? Try some of these search tools to find your friend.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you are registered at Facebook or Myspace, you may want to begin by checking those sites especially if your friend had a unique name. A lot of people under 40 have an account on either of these sites and you may be able to easily locate someone that way.

  2. Step 2

Another free, easy way to search for a friend without even being registered at the site is by visiting 123people.com. This site searches all of the internet and pulls up pictures, addresses, phone numbers and social networking sites like Myspace and Facebook. You can also limit your search by zip code if you know where the person may be living. It is a very useful site.

  3. Step 3

You can also plainly search Google for the person's name. I would recommend putting the name in quotations to help limit your searches.

  4. Step 4

Hopefully, you can find the person for free by using one of these methods.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be patient. These searches may take time.
  • You will need to be registered at Myspace or Facebook in order to send the person a message or request to be their friend.
