Caffeine drinks have been known to cause health problems. These health problems may include muscle fatigue, hypokalemia, gum disease, and sleep disturbances to name a few. Another problem with soda drinks is when you drink soda you are not drinking water. The major difficulty in quitting is caffeine addiction. When you drastically reduce your consumption of caffeine, you suffer from withdrawals most noticeably headaches.

  • Ibuprofen
  1. Step 1

    *Taste*

    At first when you stop, drinking caffeine drinks water alone will not make for a good substitute because your taste buds are use to the sweetness of caffeine drinks.

  2. Step 2

    *Alternative Drinks*

    Good alternative drinks would be something like sports drinks not energy drinks or Crystal Light.

  3. Step 3

    *Caffeine Effects*

    Ibuprofen well help with any headaches you get. One of the ingredients in ibuprofen is caffeine, which is what your body is craving or you can use a caffeine pill. If you are already taking aspirin daily for blood pressure or have, any medical conditions talk to your doctor before taking ibuprofen.

  4. Step 4

    *Time*

    After a week you will not be chemically dependent to caffeine you will just mentally want the taste of caffeine drinks. Just remember that in the end you will be healthier for not drinking soda.
