Things You'll Need:
- Baby Clothes
- Thread
- Needle
- or
- Sewing Machine
- Ruler
- Marker
- scissors
- decoration such as buttons and ribbons
-
Step 1
Pick out the clothes you would like to use. Use favorite or stained clothes, give clothes that others can still wear away.
-
Step 2
Cut two 6 inch by 6 inch squares (or the size square you would like) from each article of clothing. If you can not get two squares out of an article of clothing use a scrap piece for the second.
-
Step 3
Use the button up parts of outfits to add texture and decorations.
-
Step 4
With the two pieces of material facing front to front sew up three sides, then sew up half of the forth side. Turn the square inside out (now it is right side out). Fold the flaps that are left to be sewn in and sew up the rest of the square. With pieces that have buttons you can sew all the way around and turn it inside out using the opening where the buttons are.
-
Step 5
Once you have all your squares (pages) pick out a cover and a back.
Using ribbons and a large needle bind your book together. You can sew the buttons over where the ribbon goes through to give the book a more finished look.
