How to Donate Old Bibles

1. Gather old Bibles. You can start by gathering any old Bibles that are lying around your house. If you would like to go further, ask your friends and family to do the same. Contact local churches to see if they have any Bibles that are unused that could be donated to organizations collecting Bibles for the needy. If you find some, collect them, and add them to what you have.

2. Use the Internet to find charities that collect old Bibles. One such organization is Forgotten Word Ministries (see References). They distribute Bibles to needy people around the world. Another organization is Bible Senders (see References).

3. Deliver the Bibles to the organization that you have chosen. If you have chosen a local organization you can deliver the Bibles yourself, while if you have chosen a distant organization, you will have to mail the Bibles. You can mail the Bibles via USPS Media Mail service, which provides reduced shipping costs for books (see References).
