Step 1
Park your car in a cool shady place. When you wash your car and it is exposed to sunlight, it will leave water spots.
-
Step 2
Be sure to have a good cotton towel. Start by washing the surface of your car. Then you want to dry it.
-
Step 3
Check the surface of the car. If it has any surface defects like tree sap, then use a cleaner that has a mild abrasive.
-
Step 4
Now that all the grease and dirt are washed away from the car's surface, you want to polish it. Apply polish by hand using a sponge and moving in a circular motion.
-
Step 5
Use a cotton cloth to remove the residue after you applied the polish. Do not allow the polish to dry completely.
-
Step 6
Now its time to wax the surface of your car. Apply wax to your car using an applicator. Use a circular motion when doing this. Do one section at a time. Once the wax begins to dry, remove it with a cotton cloth. Remove the residue with one side and use the other side to remove extra residue. That's it, you are done.
