A weight watchers point chart can help you put together meal plans and keep your diet on track. This point chart can be used for any weight watchers food combination.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer (internet ready)
  • word or excel document program
  • Paper
  • Printer
  • Weight Watchers point calculator
  • Food point information
  1. Step 1

Download a Watchers point system for reference. Your point chart should include all your daily food and drinks including meals and in between snacks designated in your Weight Watchers diet.

  2. Step 2

Chart specific Weight Watchers food categories and their respective point values designated by meal portion.

  3. Step 3

Record the total number of free food point totals allowed daily on your Weight Watchers Chart.

  4. Step 4

Prepare all your Weight Watchers meals and snacks around this point total and record on your chart.

  5. Step 5

Portion out your total by the number of small meals and snacks daily to get individual point totals for your chart. Eating several small meals a day is recommended for increasing metabolism and controlling weight loss.

  6. Step 6

Calculate the number of points allowed for each meal and for each snack on your Weight Watchers chart (the snacks will be a lesser point total).

  7. Step 7

Chart out all meals trying to achieve a balance from the four food groups for nutritional purposes and try to add in larger portions of proteins and vegetables on your weight watchers point chart.

Tips & Warnings
  • Develop into your chart other daily allowances besides food point values such as calories from fat, protein, carbohydrates, etc.
  • Break your Weight Watchers food point groups into ingredient values to chart point ranges required to make your own diet recipes.
