Dress to Look Thinner
Dress to Look Thinner

It can be really difficult to lose those last few stubborn pounds no matter how much you may be dieting. Instead of feeling discouraged, try wearing clothes that will make you instantly look slimmer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • dark-colored jacket
  • skirt with a flared hem
  • dress with a small vertical pattern
  • winter white pants and cami
  1. Step 1

Wear a dark colored jacket with a nipped-in waist to create definition. Try to find a jacket with stretchy fabric so it will be comfortable, not constricting.

  2. Step 2

Wear a skirt with a flared hem to balance out the width of your hips. Or try wearing a pencil skirt with smooth fabric and a little stretch to help lengthen your lower half.

  3. Step 3

A skinny illusion can be created with a small-scale vertical pattern on a dress. If you don't like wearing dresses, try a pantsuit with pinstripes. Find one with a curved-in waist and longer length jacket. Cuffed pants with a wide leg in the same fabric will also help.

  4. Step 4

Wear stylish winter white pants without belt loops or side pockets. Pair it with a winter white cami and a pretty, over-the-hip tunic top that hits mid-thigh.
