Step 1
knowing your weeds. Most people buy products that kill a particular type of weed and don’t realize that they kill one species to allow another to take over and thrive.
Misidentifying weeds tends to lead purchasing the wrong pesticide and will make it frustrating and hard to put your plan of control into action. If you don’t know what type of weeds you have I’ve attached a few links below to help you identify the weeds on your lawn. -
Step 2
cover open patches of soil. Mother nature does not like open patches of soil particularly on a well-manicured lawn. Weeds just like any other plant will seize the opportunity to grow in an uncultivated spot of your lawn. To prevent this from happening, make sure your lawn is free of patches of open soil by regularly spreading a layer of mulch around your lawn. Mulch acts as an excellent barrier because it enriches the soil, prevents erosion and makes it difficult for weeds to sprout on your lawn or garden.

Step 3
If you repeat steps 1 and 2 constantly you will notice that your lawn will look lush and greener for more weekends to come. The intent of this article was to make it easy to control weeds without going into all the details.
