How to Care for Sunburn
Its summertime and everyone wants to have a perfect tan. After months of not being in the sun our bodies are not ready for constant sun exposure. However, that will not stop most people from laying out at the beach or doing yard work without proper sunscreen lotion. Sometime you do not even realize how much sun you are getting until you wake up the next day in pain. There is no easy way to make sunburn go away you can only control the symptoms of sunburn damage.

Do not use butter or petroleum jelly as natural remedies on a sunburn they will insulate your skin keeping the heat in. When your sunburn first begins to irritate you run cool water over it.

Take a mild pain reliever like ibuprofen or Tylenol. Putting an ice pack on your sunburn will help with irritation and keep it from blistering.

If blisters do appear on your sunburn do not scratching or popping them will cause an affection and skin damage. If the blistering becomes sever, see your doctor. The only thing you can do is ride it out and try not to be burnt again.
