How to Obtain a Marriage License in Colorado
When obtaining a marriage license in Colorado, leave about a month before your wedding, unless the license will expire before then. These requirements may vary between counties, so call your local licensing office before going, to make sure you have everything on hand. You may need to get documents and other items together before getting the license, so give yourself plenty of time before the wedding for these preparations.
