How to Incorporate RSS Feeds

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a type of feed that can be incorporated into websites and web pages. These feeds act as a type of automatically updating post that brings the latest news and posts to any website. Many websites feature RSS feeds. By incorporating an RSS feed, such as ESPN.com, onto your page, you can bring the latest ESPN posts onto your page for free.

Instructions

    • 1

Find a website whose RSS feed you would like to incorporate onto your website.

    • 2

Click the red RSS feed box that will appear somewhere on the homepage. These feeds are often displayed prominently, and often in the main menu of the page. If you cannot find one, simply type "RSS" into the search bar, which is present on most websites.

    • 3

Click the feed to subscribe to your desired feed and click the link that says "View Feed XML." Copy the link that is contained in this window (it will end in ".xml") and paste it into the desired box on your website. Your feed should appear within hours.
