Camera filters are transparent elements that attach to the front of your camera lens. Filters protect the camera lens. Learning how to keep your camera filters clean is vital in taking clean, vibrant pictures. Keeping the camera filter clean and make a camera last longer. Some of the different camera filters include ultraviolet filters, polarizing filters, neutral-density filters, diffusion filters and cross-star filters.

Instructions

    Cleaning Camera Filters

  1. Step 1

    Make sure you remove all dirt and grime on the filter before you clean it. You can use a fiber cloth for this. After you are finished, sit the cloth aside as it will need to be thoroughly cleaned.

  2. Step 2

    Take a few drops of the Eclipse Cleaning System solution and pour it on the filter.

  3. Step 3

    Use another clean-fiber cloth and gently began cleaning the filters. Wipe the filter until it is clean and dry.
