Gmail is a popular free email service provided by Google. Once a contact list has been developed in Gmail, it might become necessary to export it to another program or email provider. This can be done by exporting the list into a CVS file. A CVS file is a kind of file commonly used to transfer list type information between programs.

Instructions

      Sign into the Gmail account.

      Find "Contacts" on the left side of the screen and click on it.
