How to Make Photo Lollipops

If you're looking for a special treat for a birthday or a holiday party, custom lollipops are the way to go. You can create a photo lollipop using any picture you want. For example, make an anniversary lollipop featuring a picture of the husband and wife, or create a lollipop for your child's birthday with his or her picture. Here's how to make your own photo lollipops.

Things You'll Need

• Adobe Photoshop or similar computer software
• Ready-made templates (optional)
• Color printer
• Scissors
• Hole punch
• Flat, round lollipops
• Clear tape

Instructions

1. Design a circular template slightly larger than the face of the lollipop using Adobe Photoshop or similar software. You can also download ready-made templates (see Resources).

2. Open an image of the picture you want in Photoshop, and copy and paste the photograph to the center of the lollipop template design. Adjust it so it's in the center of your design.

3. Print out the templates on a color printer.

4. Cut out the circular templates. Punch a hole at the center of the bottom of each one with a hole punch.

5. Slide the lollipop stick through the hole in the template. Cover the front of the lollipop with your picture template, and secure it at the top with a piece of clear tape.

Tips & Warnings

• You can purchase photo lollipops from some candy stores, which will add text and put your photograph on the front of your lollipop.

• Take the photo and lollipop wrapper off before giving to small children.
