The worse part is that so many of those expensive gimmicks ruin the enamel on your teeth. So even if your teeth do get a little whiter, they won't be as strong as they used to be. Just say no to the big three in teeth staining. Coffee, Cola and Cigarettes. It is true, all three will turn your teeth yellow. You may also add to the list tea. It may seem drastic to say goodbye to all of your favorites, but having strong, white, and healthy teeth will be worth it.

Next, milk may do a body good, but it is also good for your teeth. The calcium is good to help make your teeth strong and white. Don't stop there. Cheese also has benefits for your teeth. It is said that it fights plaque and makes your teeth stronger. Plaque build-up can make your teeth yellow.

Brush with just plain baking soda and use hydrogen peroxide as a mouth wash. Do this once a day (with your regular brushing with toothpaste) for good results. The more often you do it, the better and faster your results will be.

Last, get the gunk out. Flossing is good, but for me it can sometimes be painful and boring. When that happens I use my dental pick and I make a mixture of Listerine and water and flush out anything and everything that doesn't belong there. My teeth feel dentist clean afterwards.
