3. Become a member of an online forum group that discusses freebies. Two that come to mind are FatWallet and Spoofee. Their members post the latest promotional items, which may include free wall calendars by mail.

4. Check with local banks and other businesses in your community. Local businesses will often offer free calendars at different times of the year to help promote their services.

5. Search online for "free calendars by mail." Some will offer free calendars that promote their products (soup, cat food, cookbooks, etc.).
