How to Create a Ticker
A ticker is a popular way to count down to an event in a person's life. Tickers are normally found in signatures on message board forums. The most popular tickers show countdowns to birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and vacations. The most popular ticker websites are Daisypath.com, Lilypie.com and Tickerfactory.com. Most ticker sites are free, but to access advanced features such as changing the color and font of the text in the ticker might require registration and a fee.

Tips & Warnings
Some ticker websites allow you to upload a picture next to either side of your ticker. Make sure the website accepts the file extension and the picture is not too large.
When paying to access more ticker options on sites that require a fee, be sure the website is legitimate and you are not just giving your information to anyone.
