Choose a website to purchase the tickets from (some sites are listed in the resources section). Enter the details like your zip code to begin a general search. If you live in a large city you may want to try a few different zip codes to find the theatre you want to go to. Some sites offer audio and visual trailers for you to make sure that is the movie you want to see.

When purchasing there usually is a small service charge, but the site can tell you in advance when the movie opens, if it is sold out, or if the tickets are not available online.
This is a good way to get your tickets without waiting in line or dragging your kids to the theatre only to find out your movie is sold out.
