Step 1
Tell your hair stylist that you want to grow out your bangs. Ask him or her to help cut your hair into a style that will work well with your bangs as they grow out.
-
Step 2
Use pretty hair clips or barrettes to clip your bangs up away from your face. This one really helps and can be done from the moment your bangs get too long for bangs all the way until you are done growing them out.
-
Step 3
Style your hair in a manner that hides your bangs as they grow out. For instance, push them to the side or part them in the middle and style them with the rest of your hair. Use styling products to keep them in place as you re-train this section of hair.
-
Step 4
Be patient. Though growing out your bangs can be a difficult process, it will be over in a few short months! Don't give in!
-
Step 5
Don't give in! Once you've passed the halfway point don't give in and re-cut them.
