Just paying for college is tough enough, but also having to support yourself and make a living is even tougher. Here are some great ways to make a living during college.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look for a job where you can make tips.
One way to make a great income while in college is getting a job where people tip you. Bar tending for example is a great way to make money. Many places you will be able to make over 500 dollars in just a night. It also works out with a college schedule because bartenders typically make more money on weekends, and that will be when you are not in school. Also shifts are late, so if you do have class you will not miss it.

  2. Step 2

    Start doing online advertising.
Online advertising is also a great way to make a good amount of money in college. It does require a lot of time in the beginning but once your website grows and starts receiving a lot of traffic you can make a living from it. If you are having trouble starting a website and making money, remember that it also depends on the topic you choose. Some ads are worth more money than others, so try to start a website that has expensive advertisements so you can make more money while you are going to college.

  3. Step 3

    Go to an online college.
By taking college classes online your work schedule is much more flexible. So if you do not want to work in the early morning hours or late at night, online college is a good choice. It is very important to stay current with all of your assignments though. The last thing you want is to fall behind in one of your college classes. This is not just because you need a good grade to pass, but also because you are paying for all of your online courses and you do not want to have to pay again.
