The first step is to buy a seasons pass at the amusement park you plan on visiting. If you calculate the price of the pass versus the amount of times you plan on visiting the park, you can tell very quick how much you can save by doing this. Typically these passes pay for themselves in 3 visits.

The second step is to check the internet for deals and coupons. Just perform an internet search for the name of the park and put in coupon after the name and you can usually find a deal. Also check for specials at stores and gas stations etc. Many times amusement parks will partner with these companies and offer coupons to try and bring in customers that normally may not come.

The third step is to go to smaller regional theme parks instead of the large national chains. They are usually a fraction of the price of the larger parks, have shorter lines, cheaper food, and will offer unlimited rides with a wristband. The advantages of not only the price but the crowds of regional parks makes them a great choice.
