Make a Wednesday Addams Halloween Costume

Wednesday Addams is a fun and easy costume to assemble. With just a couple braids, some creative makeup and some simple details you can easily transform into Wednesday. So let's get started.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A black baby-doll dress, or a black long-sleeved top with a black a-line skirt
  • A white blouse with collar
  • Black boots
  • White pancake makeup or white powder
  • Light-purple eye shadow
  • A doll from Goodwill
  • Scissors
  • Optional: A black wig
  1. Step 1

Wednesday's outfit is rather simple. It is basically a black baby doll dress with a white blouse underneath. The white collar pokes over the top of the dress and the white cuffs are also folded up over the black sleeves. If you do not have a black dress or white blouse, you can purchase these items at Goodwill. You could also substitute a black long-sleeved shirt and a black A-line skirt.

  2. Step 2

Once you have the general outfit, you can start adding the hair and makeup. Braid your hair, or a wig into two plaits. Add a little bit of white pancake makeup or white powder to your normal makeup to make yourself seem pale. Take a light purple eye shadow and sweep it underneath your eyes to create a sunken dead-like look. Finish the makeup with some black eye liner and a pale lip.

  3. Step 3

To top off the costume, purchase a doll from Goodwill and cut off its head. If you can't cut off the head, you can make a noose for the doll. Carry the gruesome doll around for added effect.

  4. Step 4

Black tights and black boots should finish off the look. This outfit is a ton of fun and incredibly simple. Enjoy and Happy Halloween!
