Things You'll Need:
- Chalkboard Paint
- Mirror Tile
- Painter's Tape
-
Step 1
Gather your materiel to start. Place the mirror on old newspaper and pick a well ventilated room, or move the work area outside, before beginning.
-
Step 2
Tape off a boarder on the mirror. Choose how thick the mirror boarder should be. A balance of 1/2 an inch to 1" looks nice. For clean lines, press the tape firmly on the mirror.
-
Step 3
Shake the blackboard paint for one minute and spray over the entire mirror tile. Spray evenly, applying a thick coat of paint.
-
Step 4
Allow to dry for 30 minutes. After drying, remove the tape slowly.
-
Step 5
Next add a hanger to the back of the mirror tile. Mirror mounting tabs can be used, or a wire can be attached by hot gluing the ends to the tile. The wire can be hung on a nail.

on 9/4/2009 Don't you need to put some primer on the mirror before painting it with the blackboard paint?
