An animated GIF may look like a video, but it is really more like a slideshow of GIF files. If you have an animated GIF that you would like to make a video, you can convert an animated GIF to MPEG. Since an animated GIF is not a true video file, you have to find a video converter that supports GIF as the input file. The River Past Video Cleaner is a popular GIF to MPEG download on the CNET Download Center. With it, you can quickly convert an animated GIF to MPEG.
