How to Read Watchmen Comics Online

While Marvel Comics (publisher of characters like Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four) has a successful online digital comic distribution service, Watchmen's publisher DC Comics offers no such service to fans. It is because of this that there is no legal way to read Watchmen comics online for free. You can, however, "view" the comics in the form of animated episodes on Apple's iTunes Store. These episodes use the original art and dialogue, and are just like seeing the 12 issues of Watchmen in motion.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes. If you don't already have iTunes on your computer, you an download and install it from http://www.apple.com/itunes.

2. Click on the "iTunes Store" link on the left side of the iTunes window.

3. In the "Search" box in the upper right corner of the iTunes window, type "Watchmen." This will bring up a listing of the 12 Watchmen motion comics, available to download to your computer for $1.99 apiece.

4. Click the "Download" link next to each issue you'd like to view. This will prompt you to enter a debit or credit card in which to pay for the issue. Once this information is inputted into the iTunes Store, they will download to your computer and be available to view in your iTunes library.
