Stitch 2 Photos Together

If you have two pictures that should go together, but you just couldn't fit them both into the frame when you took the picture, you can still join them together in Adobe Photoshop. Turn any two photos into one larger picture by stitching them together. They'll look like they were supposed to be that way from the beginning. Here's how to do it.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Open the first picture you want to use in Adobe Photoshop. Select the "Image" toolbar, and choose "Canvas Size."

    • 2

Under "New Size," select "percent" from the drop-down box after width. Change the width to "200," then click "OK."

    • 3

Click the left arrow under "Anchor." This will allow you to stitch your second photo to the right side of the picture by moving your current image to the left. To attach it to the left side, click the right arrow. To attach it to the top or bottom, click the corresponding arrow, but change "Height" to "200" instead of width.

    • 4

Create a new layer. Make sure this layer is highlighted, and copy and paste your second image onto this layer. Move the two images until the edges match up.

    • 5

Use the clone stamp tool to blend the edges together. You can also select the layer with one of the two pictures on it to change the color and contrast settings for that layer only.
