How to Save Macromedia Flash

Macromedia Flash files can be in the form of pictures, videos, movies or illustrations, and can be tricky to copy or to save to a computer. Because of the nature of the files, users cannot right-click and save them, but they can copy them to their desktops using another method. Like any type of file, a Macromedia Flash file can be saved using the correct type of file and extension, and saving it to the right place.

      Press "F3" on the keyboard to open a "View Source" menu.

      Enter ".swf" into the text bar, and hit "Enter." The list will be populated with every .swf file on the page. Find the .swf that corresponds with the flash file you are trying to save, and click on it.

      Copy the file name of the flash file and paste into another application or folder to save it.
