How to Play a Meta Game on Halo 3

Ready to have even more fun with Halo 3?

Playing a cooperative game in Halo 3 can lead to some interesting arguments. Who got the most head shots? Who hijacked the most vehicles? Who is just a better player? Luckily, playing a meta game of Halo 3 can give you all this information and more.

Things You'll Need

• Xbox 360
• 2 Xbox 360 controllers or Xbox Live service
• Second player

Instructions

Startup

1. Power on your Xbox 360 with the Halo 3 disc in the disc drive.

2. Navigate to the My Xbox section.

3. Select "Play Halo 3" and press "A."

Within the Game's Interface

1. Wait for the title screen to come up. Highlight "Campaign" and press "A."

2. Within the Campaign Lobby, press "X' to bring up the Options screen.

3. Within the Options screen, highlight "Campaign Scoring" and press "A."

4. Choose either "Team" or "Free for all" campaign scoring options, and press "A" again.

5. Press "B" to exit the Options menu and return to the Campaign Lobby.

6. Adjust any other features such as Mission or Difficulty. Then highlight "Start Game" and press "A."

Tips & Warnings

• When enabling the meta game within the Options screen, you have the option of activating skulls to multiply your score.

• Before you are able to activate the skulls, you have to locate them. They are cleverly hidden throughout the campaign levels of Halo 3. The skulls make the game more difficult by increasing enemy health or deactivating your HUD.
