Things You'll Need:
- Proector VGA Cable
- USB Cable (A to B)
- Universal Power Cable
-
Step 1
Turn off the computer monitor and disconnect the VGA cable running from the VGA port on the monitor to the VGA port on the back of your computer -- only disconnect the end connected to the monitor.
-
Step 2
Connect the data projector to the computer with the end of the VGA cable you disconnected from the monitor. If your monitor uses an HDMI cable, you can switch it out for a VGA cable.
-
Step 3
Secure both ends of the VGA cable to both the VGA port on the computer and the data projector with the screw-on heads built into the VGA cable.
-
Step 4
Connect the universal power cable to the projector. Insert the female end of the universal power cable into the power port on the back of the projector and plug the three-pronged male end into a power outlet.
-
Step 5
Plug the rectangular "A" end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer and plug the more squared "B" end into the USB port on the back of your projector.
-
Step 6
Switch the projector's power on. Give the projector a minute to warm up and search and locate the VGA data source.
