Tips & Warnings
If your hat is more than 10 years old or made of wool you should hand wash the hat. Use a mild detergent for hand washing. Use a wet cloth to apply the mild detergent. Rinse the cloth and use it to remove any detergent. Allow the hat to air dry.
If you are concerned about your hat not being washable, you should do a colorfast test. Use a wet cloth to put a little mild detergent on a hidden spot on your hat. Rinse the cloth and wipe off the detergent. Let it dry and if the color remains the same, your hat is safe to be washed.
