Never loose another email again in your Gmail account. Simply create a “Label” and file it away. Here are the simple steps to get you started organizing your email inbox.

Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Create a Label
     
    Create a Label

    Login to your Gmail account. Above your email messages, select the button called “Labels”, then select “Manage labels”.

  2. Step 2
    New Label

    Go to the box “Create a new label” and type the name of your new Gmail label. It will appear on the list of labels. Think of the label as where you want to store the message, or a folder name.

  3. Step 3

    To apply the Gmail label to an email. Go to your inbox. Click the box next to the email you want to label. Go back to “Label” button. Select the new label. The new label will be on the line of the email.

  4. Step 4
    Archive
     
    Archive

    Now to archive, or file your message. While the email is still checked, click the button “Archive”. The email will disappear.

  5. Step 5
    Retrieve Archived Message
     
    Retrieve Archived Message

    To find your email, look on the left hand side of the screen, under "Labels" click the Gmail label you just created. Your archive message will appear in your inbox.
