Want to lose weight but don't want to give up your favorite snacks? The following snacks are yummy and low fat/low calorie, so put away the cheese puffs and try these out.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pudding. Jello pudding makes 100 calorie snacks which are made with skim milk, and they taste just as rich and creamy as the original while allowing you to lose weight. Whether you like chocolate or vanilla, these will satisfy your sweet tooth for less calories.

  2. Step 2

Popcicles. I like to eat the Popcicle brand ones that come in mixed box of cherry, orange and grape. Don't bother with the sugar-free ones, because they taste funny, and the regular ones are only 60 calories anyway. A plus is that they have corny jokes on the bottom of the stick and the answers underneath the popcicle. Who knew eating dessert would help you to lose weight?

  3. Step 3

Oatmeal. Oatmeal is filling, sweet and is total comfort food. One serving of instant only has 100 calories, and it doesn't feel like you're dieting.

  4. Step 4

Lipton Cup O' Soup. I keep these at my desk at work. All you have to do is full a mug with the contents of the packet, add water and microwave for a minute. I enjoy a cup of chicken noodle soup at my desk to stave off hunger and it's only 70 calories!

  5. Step 5

Frozen fruit. I hate buying fruit only to have it go bad because I don't eat it fast enough. Dole makes frozen fruit- strawberries, raspberries, tropical mixes, etc. It makes an easy snack- take some out and put them on a paper plate. Let them defrost for half an hour or pop them frozen! A sweet treat for summertime. Little to no calories- perfect diet food.

  6. Step 6

String cheese. String cheese is portable, full of protein and not a lot of fat. It's satisfying and less than 75 calories!

  7. Step 7

Make english muffin pizzas. Grab a whole wheat english muffin, add tomato sauce and top with low fat or fat free (sliced or shredded) cheese. Bake in the oven.
