Everyone who ever dieted knows that one of the greatest pitfalls is giving in to those between-meals hunger pangs. Snacks from vending machines are usually calorie carriers that can derail any diet.
But you needn't stay hungry and suffer. There are snacking options that can fill you up or satisfy a craving without filling you with calories in the process.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Looking to fill your sweet tooth without feeling any guilt? Have some sugar free jello. A pack usually packs only ten calories!
If chocolate is your thing, you should try sugar free chocolate pudding. It's delicious and carries only sixty calories. Compare that to a Mars bar!

  2. Step 2

You're in the mood for something crunchy...well, my friend, you should try pickles! Pickles come in different sizes and flavors nowadays, from sweet to spicy. Vlasic Dill Spears are bigger and a little softer and pack only ten calories. Whole Gherkins are tiny and crunchy and the jar says... zero calories per serving! Yeah, doesn't get better than that!

  3. Step 3

Need something more substantial? Here's an idea: Get a piece of Melba toast (only 19 calories), spread some fat-free cream cheese on it and add a slice of cucumber. It's a delicious, low calorie sandwich that you can make anywhere!

  4. Step 4

Everyone says that drinking lots of water can help you lose weight. But water is just...well, boring, unless you are thirsty.
Diet sodas are not healthy either, because they contain aspartane as a sweetener. Which is made from coal. Yeah! But there is an alternative low calorie sweetener, sucralose, which is actually extracted from sugar and is reported to be better for you than aspartane. Sucralose is found in sweeteners such as Splenda. Most diet ice teas, such as Lipton and Snapple brands, are sweetened with Splenda and present a better alternative to drinking diet sodas. Snapple also makes zero-calorie juice, by the way. Stay hydrated and satisfied without ingesting sugar!
