Things You'll Need:
- Computer

Step 1
If you remembered the toll booth name or number that will help you when paying for your missed toll online. Of course it might be difficult to remember while driving, but there is help. Go to the iPass website and map the location of the toll booth you believe you missed. Write the name or number down.
-
Step 2
For example; on the Illinois toll way website click on Roads & Tolls. Scroll down to Unpaid tolls & Violations and click on Unpaid tolls.
-
Step 3
The unpaid toll page will give you the information on paying for your missed toll. If you do not know where you missed the toll, Illinois has a maximum toll charge that is based on the amount of axles. For example 2 axles would be a passenger car and the maximum amount you would pay is $2.00. Illinois has a 7 day grace period to pay your toll before you are citied. Click on PAY ON LINE.
-
Step 4
This page will determine if you are eligible to pay online. If you are then proceed to the Plate Owner Personal Information page. Answer all required lines such as name, address and phone number. The next page will be information on amount due and don't forget to have you licence plate number too. Finally you will enter credit card information. Conformation will be sent to you by email if you had entered your email address or by mail. Email conformation is quick and you should see it just a few minutes after the form is completed.
