It's summertime! That means it's time to put away those winter jackets and pull out the flip flops, shirts, and skirts! Going from jeans all winter to a mini skirt can be a little intimidating, so here are a few tips on how to wear a mini skirt!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Try to pick a top that doesn't show too much... whether that's cleavage or just too much skin it's your call. You don't want to add to the mini skirt's image of showing too much by adding to it up top - but that's totally you're call.

  2. Step 2

When you walk, try to walk in a straight line, walking with one foot in front of the other , instead of knees out like a cowboy. This helps to minimize your mini skirt's chances of riding up.

  3. Step 3

When you're bending over, try to bend at the knees or lower yourself down, instead of letting the backside of the mini skirt ride up. Try to keep the bottom of the skirt level - (or as much as you can taking into account your backside).

  4. Step 4

Wear flat shoes, flip flops, but stay away from heels and spikes. Those ad to the long leg image and make your mini skirt seem even shorter.

  5. Step 5

Some girls wear tight boxers or biking shorts underneath the skirt just in case.

  6. Step 6

Most of all - have fun! All of these are just options, but the best thing you can do about yourself and your image is feel good! Your attitude will project a lot about your wardrobe and how you look. You deserve it. :)
