Hair removal doesn't have to be painful, smelly, or expensive. If you want to look your best without having a whole lot of time devote to the task, and you prefer to do it from the privacy of your own home, all you need are a few simple products.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Exfoliating scrub (can also make one by using a handful of coarse sea salt and an oil of your choice or liquid soap)
  • Razor or Veet Mousse depilatory
  • Aloe vera gel
  • Finishing Touch Personal Hair Remover (optional)
  1. Step 1

Clean the area where you plan to remove hair. Use soap, followed by an exfoliating scrub, and massage into skin in a circular motion. Rinse.

  2. Step 2

    IF USING VEET MOUSSE:
Thoroughly dry skin before applying the product. Apply aloe vera gel if your skin is sensitive. Without rubbing it off, apply a layer of the mousse generously on the skin in a downward motion; avoid rubbing it into skin. Wait 3-8 minutes before rinsing off.

  3. Step 3

    IF USING RAZOR:
With skin still damp, apply olive oil, exfoliating scrub, or a shaving gel to the area and shave in the direction of the hair growth to avoid ingrown hairs and razor burn.

  4. Step 4

    OPTIONAL METHOD:
Use Personal Touch to remove hair, and follow with a razor if desired.

  5. Step 5

    AFTER REMOVAL:
Apply aloe vera gel or oil of your choice to prevent chafing and help skin retain moisture. If using razor or Personal Touch, a moisturizer may be applied directly to the skin instead.

Tips & Warnings
  • For more stubborn areas, follow step one on a daily basis for up to a week before wanting to remove unwanted hair.
  • If using Veet Mousse, first do a spot test on a small patch of skin and wait 24 hours to see how your skin reacts.
