Also, any chronic pain is serious, and the best way to manage your pain is by knowing what is causing the pain, since different diagnosis' require different treatment.

Next, ice, ice, ice. There isn't a pelvic problem I know that can harmed by using ice. If you have endometriosis, this is a great treatment, and it can be aided with a hot pack, switching from cold to hot. Also, speak to your doctor about using Motrin each day. If you have PID or endometriosis, an anti-infammatory will help with the pain.

Also, try exercising at a level which is comfortable for you. Exercising can stretch some important ligaments and muscles in your abdomen, which can strengthen them and reduce pain. You doctor may be able to send you to a physical therapist if you ask. Just make sure your not doing anything that is too painful for you.
