Download an MP3 from Imeem is a simple process, and in most cases Imeem will direct you to where to download the MP3 from either Amazon or iTunes. Imeem is a music database that allows users to sign up for free and create their own streaming playlists. After finding the song you're looking for, you can stream the song and add it to your own personal playlist. You can also embed the song onto your blog. There are programs out there that allow you to rip the streaming song from the site, but such programs violate Imeem's terms and policies.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to Imeem (see Resources). From there you can sign up for a free account by clicking on the "Sign Up" option at the top of the screen, or you can click on the "Log In" option if you already have an account.

  2. Step 2

Click in the top search bar and type in "The Beatles," to use as an example. Make sure that "Music" is selected from the drop-down menu beside the search and click the "Search" button to continue.

  3. Step 3

Search through the results to find the song you are looking to download. For example, go to the song "Help" by The Beatles. As you can see, you have the options to add the song to a playlist, add as a ringtone, or download from Amazon or iTunes.

  4. Step 4

Click on the song itself and you will be directed to the user's Imeem page who is hosting the song on their playlist. From here you can stream the song and listen to make sure it is the song you'd like to download.

  5. Step 5

Click on the "Download" drop-down and select from where you would like to download the song from. Search for a song to download through Imeem may be more helpful for some people who'd like to preview an entire song before purchasing or downloading it.
