- Rocks

Clear the area to be used of grass, rocks and weeds. Level the dirt.

Lay the plants in a design that is preferable while they are still in the pots. This way the plants can be moved around to achieve the best results before planting. It is better to place the ground cover plants just inside the rocks, then the smaller growing plants, and then graduate sizes until the tallest plants are in the middle. This lends a more aesthetic look.

Cut a hole in the landscape fabric and dig a hole for each plant. Remove the plant from the holder and place plant in their respective holes. Cover the hole with the loose dirt.

Tips & Warnings
Mix and match colors or use variations of the same color. Add a small decorative tree to the middle of the flower bed.
