Purchase quality clip-in hair extensions, such as the ones from HeadKandy, which can be purchased at beauty supply stores and online (see Resources).

Comb and section dry, clean hair with a fine-toothed comb. Part your hair just above your ear in a straight part stretching across the side of your head.

Comb the hair extension with the fine-toothed comb. The smoother the hair extension is, the easier it will be to incorporate into your natural hair.

Place the clip-in hair extension as close to your scalp as possible, on the part. Clip the extension into your hair by pinching closed the plastic or metal attachment.

Comb through your hair and clipped-in extension with your fingers to blend. Style as usual.
