How to Convert MPEG Layer-3 Audio
The file format "MPEG Layer-3 Audio" is more commonly known as "MP3." This is an audio format that is commonly used with many different types of programs and portable audio devices. MP3 players use audio files in this format. They can be transferred directly from where you download them on your computer to your portable MP3 player for listening on the go. There are some audio players, though, that prefer a different format, such as MP4. To use your MP3s on such players, you'll need to convert them.
