How to Customize Dog Tags

Instructions

1. Use a glue gun to attach small rhinestones to the dog tag by running dabs or a line of glue then placing the rhinestones over the glue. Ideas include using the rhinestones to spell out initials in the middle of the tag or to outline the tag, forming a border of rhinestones. Be sure to let the glue dry thoroughly before touching the dog tag.

2. Place a sticker or an arrangement of several onto the tag. Rub your finger over the sticker to smooth it out. Apply clear nail polish over the sticker to create a transparent seal. Allow the nail polish to dry before touching the tag.

3. Remove the dog tag from the traditional ball chain. Braid pieces of colored yarn or embroidery floss together. Hang the dog tag on the braid.
