How to Make Glitter Siggies
If you've ever wanted your emails and forum signatures to stand out from all the rest, then making your siggie or signature into a glitter siggie is one way to do this. While it may not be appropriate for business correspondence, it is great for a personal email signature, or a web forum signature. However, email and forums aren't the only place you can use a glitter siggie, you can also use one on MySpace and Facebook and any instant messaging program.

Go to 123glitter.com (see Resources). Click on "Glitter Maker" from the menu at the top of the page, it's the second from the left. This will take you to the form that allows you to make your glitter siggie.

Type your name in the Your Name box. Select the font you want from the Text Font drop-down menu. Be careful when selecting your font, if your mouse jiggles when selecting, you may end up with the wrong font.

Select your text size by typing in the number for the size of text you want in the Text Size box.

Select your text angle by typing in the number for the angle you want your text to be in the Text Angle box.

Click on the box that says "Select" next to the Text Color section. This will open a window that allows you to click on the the color you want your text to be. Click on "OK" when you've chosen the color.

Click on "Yes" or "No," depending on whether or not you want your glitter siggie text to have a shadow next to the Shadow section.

Click on "Yes" or "No," next the Border section, to choose whether you want your glitter siggie text to have a border.

Type in the number for the width you want your glitter text siggie to have in the box next to the Border Width section.

Click on "Create Text" and, if you like the way your glitter siggie looks, then click on "Grab It," if not click on "Trash" it and start over.

Go to the area beneath your glitter siggie when you have finished it, and choose which code format you need; HTML for websites like My Space and Facebook; Forum Hotlink for forums and email signatures; or choose the code for a scrolling signature.

Paste the code for your glitter siggie into the email, forum signature, instant message program or social networking site.

Play with different fonts to create cool glitter siggies in different fonts. Save more than one font type so you can switch your siggie them from time to time.
