How to Create Rubber Bracelets
A rubber bracelet can make a statement or simply be a cute novelty bracelet in your favorite color. It can be done in minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Rubber band or other rubber item you can glue at the ends to make a bracelet
- Markers, glitter, liquid latex and/or adornments such as rhinestones or charms
- Stencils (optional)

Measure your wrist to find the size that will fit comfortably.

Cut the rubber band or piece of rubber to the size you measured in Step 1.

Dye the bracelet using liquid latex. It will take five to 10 minutes to dry. If you want to go the old-fashioned route, you can color it with permanent markers.

Add a message to your bracelet with a stencil. Flatten out the area you want to write on and tape it down. Then use the stencil, or draw the message with permanent marker.

Decorate your bracelet with the rhinestones, glitter and anything else you want to add. Wait several minutes for your decorations to dry before continuing.

For charms, put the charm on a wire hook, then attach the hook to the bracelet using either your fingers or a pair of pliers.

Glue the ends of the bracelet together.

Tips & Warnings
Make patterns by attaching finished bracelets to one another or braiding three and gluing them together.
Remove the liquid latex right away if it gets on your skin.
