How to Have True Revival
Revival means a renewal and an energizing of a person's and of a faith community's approach to evangelization. A true revival reflects the essence of Christ's teachings and the teachings of his early followers as found in the Bible. Christian revival is a deeply personal as well as a communal experience. The individual's spiritual renewal flows out from the spirit, into her Christian community and the world. Examine Bible accounts of revival, such as in the Acts of the Apostles, for keys to the signs and actions of genuine revival. At the heart of a true revival, you will find God.

1
Pray, meditate and worship to create fertile interior terrain for God to revive you. Pray in private and in a prayer group. Read the Bible at least once a day. Practice your faith in all areas.
-
2
Open your mind and your heart to the areas in which you fall short of the holiness to which God calls you. Experience the sorrow that accompanies realization of your sins. Relish the joy that accompanies the flow of God into your heart, which the Scion of Zion website calls "positional sanctification."

3
Expand your church by evangelizing in your community. Promote a community Christian revival by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, house by house. Organize tent meetings to which you invite the whole community. Read Acts 13 to 28 to see how St. Paul promoted revivals, suggests the Liberty Baptist Church website.

4
Renew listeners with the messages of Scripture. Point to passages describing Jesus as God incarnate and as the Messiah. Share the Gospel message by taking every chance to preach.
