Now I have my keyword phrases where do I put them? You have to use the keywords correctly throughout the page. How many times use should I use the keyword phrase?
Be careful about using the keyword too much.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make sure your title , description, body text, and so on has your keyword phrase. Try to use your keyword phrase at the beginning . Don't use your keyword tag more than three times in your META keyword tag.

  2. Step 2

Try to use your keyword phrase in the middle of the description tag instead of the beginning. Just as important as using the keyword tag it is important where you place the words. Keep your keywords near one another.
Place your keyword tag in important places. In some search engines it is important to use your keyword tags in the link text or URL so this can add more relevancy. Go to "How to Use META Tags" at search engine web site. searchengine.internet.com/webmasters/meta.html

  3. Step 3

    Record your results.
Sometimes this may help your relevancy to leave off the ">" from the keyword META tag. If you don't close the tag properly record the results and see how you rate.

  4. Step 4

Put your keyword tag in boldface in the body text. Sometimes this helps the relevancy.

  5. Step 5

Use tiny bullet graphics with AltaVista.
