Here is a super easy handprint Father's Day gift! If you are looking for something a little different this Father's Day, this is a great project! Your dad will cherish this project for many years to come. This is even easy enough for a child to do!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White t-shirt
  • Acrylic paint or fabric paint
  • Fabric marker
  • Piece of cardboard
  1. Step 1

Using a paintbrush, brush paint on your child's hands. Have your child press his/her hands all over the front and back of the shirt, with fingers facing towards the bottom of the shirt and leaving some room to write your message. Reapply more paint as needed.

  2. Step 2

Insert the cardboard in between the shirt to keep the marker from bleeding through to the other side. Using a fabric maker, write "Best Dad, Hands Down!" on the shirt. If your child is too young, you can write the message.

  3. Step 3

Let the shirt dry completly. Follow the directions for washing on the label from the manufacture.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be creative! Use different color paint to make the shirt more colorful.
  • Add "Happy Father's Day" or the date to the shirt.
  • Be careful if using acrylic paint! It will NOT wash out of your clothes!
