Summer would be a great time to start those much-needed repairs and painting. There is a way that you can get the painting done in a short period of time and for very little money. Organizing a summer painting party is a way of having some fun and at the same time getting that much needed painting completed. Basically, the only money you will have to spend is for the price of paint, brushes, and drop cloths.

  2. Step 2

All you need to do is plan a day when you will begin your work and use the days in between to move and cover any furniture that you wish to protect from paint splatter. The drop cloths can be placed at least a day or two in advance. Decide on what colors you will be using and make a detailed list. The best place to purchase house paint is at a place like Home Depot. Home Depot tends to offer better deals to the consumer on interior and exterior house paint and supplies.

  3. Step 3

Try and get as many people as possible to help you with your project. Husband, wife, children, friends, and even close neighbors could all pitch in to help. You would be surprised, many times friend sand neighbors are more than happy to help out. Good friends and family should always be willing to lend a helping hand.

  4. Step 4

Once you have the crew assembled you can begin your task. Make sure you stress neatness and the importance of doing a real professional job. In addition, make sure you offer refreshments, food, and it may help to play some music in the back round. Work can actually turn out to be a lot of fun.

  5. Step 5

You can end up with a professional looking job and it can be completed in about half the time. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You could get the paint job done for just a couple hundred dollars.
